MEDIA CENTER PC NEWSJanuary 6th 2005 Apple Won't Release a Movie iPod, So Nyko Does It For Them
Most exciting is the MoviePlayer, a groundbreaking peripheral that transforms the iPod into a complete multimedia center, allowing users to transfer and play movies, videos and photos on a 3.5 in. 65,000 color TFT screen with built-in control pad. Nyko has stepped in to fill a gap left by Apple who are concentrating on bringing down the price of the iPod by delivering memory card versions instead of the usual hard drive variety. The iPod isn't the only device that Nyko are giving a shot in the arm. The Sony PSP may only be available in Japan (or via Ebay) and its media center credentials are as yet unproven, but Nyko have announced Theater Experience PSP. This is a case/stand for the PSP with built-in hi-fi speakers that extend the PSP’s play time threefold and delivers a full sound experience. |
