Shuttle debuted what they describe as the "ultimate media center PC" at CeBIT earlier this month and judging by the crowds around their stand they may be onto something.

With its code-named MCE-01 unit, Shuttle showcased what they call the "ultimate media center PC". Equipped with a Pentium M processor, the Shuttle MCE-01 is guaranteed to be a discreet presence in your living room. It even offers additional space for three PCI-Express cards (stacked.) The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN25P was a hit with power-hungry gamers. The world’s first SFF PC based on the NVIDIA nForce4 chipset, it is offered in Shuttle’s innovative P-series chassis. Designed for AMD processors, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN25P is a gamer’s dream machine. Outstanding gaming performance also comes with the Shuttle XPC Barebone ST20G5, this time from the onboard graphics solution. The new ATI Radeon Xpress 200 chipset offers a perfect solution for home and office users.

"Our presence at the 2005 CeBIT was a huge success for us" according to Bastian Froehlig, PR Manager for Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH.

We've always liked media center PCs that have been based on Shuttle barebones systems. It's a great move for Shuttle to start producing MCPCs out of the box.
