MEDIA CENTER PC NEWSSeptember 16th 2005 Cannon PC Releases Two New Media Center PCs for Home Automation and Home Theater
The new LX and EX models come in newly designed cases and are packed with more power, disk space and memory than previous systems. These units are specifically designed for home automation and home theaters. Both models feature A/V rack mounting brackets for installation in A/V racks. "We have always heard that someday there will be a computer that will run you house. Well its here." says Gregg Cannon of Canon PC. "Our systems have been installed in homes to control lighting, provide distribution of audio and video to other rooms in the house, control and monitor heating and air conditioning, monitor security." "And all our units are rock solid." "We are seeing more and more customers wanting to have a single system that they can use to control the entire house. They don't want separate solutions, separate vendors and separate technology. They want integration and simplicity. We have designed our new units to fill those needs." says Cannon.
