The new LX and EX models come in newly designed cases and are packed with more power, disk space and memory than previous systems. These units are specifically designed for home automation and home theaters. Both models feature A/V rack mounting brackets for installation in A/V racks. The LX case features function control buttons on the front of the case to alleviate the frequent need for the media center remote. The EX series comes standard with a 7" Hi resolution color LCD touch screen which makes it ideal for the premier media closet or A/V rack. "Our systems have been installed in homes to control lighting, provide distribution of audio and video to other rooms in the house, control and monitor heating and air conditioning, monitor security." All Cannon PC Media Center systems come standard with dual NTSC TV tuners, 1 HDTV ATSC TV tuner, 8 channel HD audio, 1 GB RAM, large SATA drives, state of the art NVIDIA graphics cards, dual layer DVD/CD burner, wireless and gigabit Ethernet, digital media card reader, USB 2.0, fire wire 400/800, Norton Anti-Virus 2005 and True Image 8.0 recovery software. Each of the units is completely customizable also. |
