AMD launches online contest for AMD LIVE! digital home solution

AMD has launched a website and online contest called the AMD LIVE! Virtual House in order to promote awareness of its digital home solutions.

Visitors can register at www.winwithamd.com to take part in a variety of activities, including an instant-win game, trivia contests and a raffle for a chance to win PC and consumer electronics equipment. Upon registering, visitors will receive two game tokens which can be used to play the instant-win game, as well as earn additional tokens by exploring the website.

At the end of a 45-day period, AMD will raffle off all the products in a featured room of the Virtual House. These will include an HP Pavilion Media Center m8100e series PC, Sony BRAVIA 46” HDTV, Logitech Wireless DJ Music System, Palm Treo 680 smartphone, Microsoft Xbox 360 games console and ATI Radeon HD2600 XT graphics card.

The first contest will close on September 6, 2007, and a new room in the Virtual House will launch shortly afterwards with additional prizes and contests.
