Sony has unveiled its latest attempt at converting the PC from a grey box in the corner of the living room to something you would like to hurl at any house guests and shout "check this out!".

The VGX-TP1 is basically the latest VAIO digital living PC, but Sony has given it a new curvy look that it more sci-fi than anything we've seen for some time.

Amazingly the VGX-TP1 is pretty cheap.

It weighs in at £699 getting you a Vista Premium system built around Intel's T5500 Core 2 Duo processor, a 500GB hard drive and a hybrid TV tuner.

We are strangely excited. Remember guys, it's just a PC.
